“Bühlertäler hiking weekend” (for groups of 6 people and more)
Hike with your friends in the Northern Black Forest and stay in our traditional 3star hotel!
2 days programme:
- Arrival on Friday in the course of the day
- Welcome aperitif in our cosy restaurant
- We serve you a delicate speciality of our Baden cooking “Kalbshaxen” (veal shank) with side dishes.
- After the meal, you successfully round off your evening with a final nightcap.
Saturday
- Hiking-tour with our guide Siegfried
- Possibility of sightseeing the castle “Windeck” and optional stop in the local “Pferdestall”
- Afterwards visit of the “Hammerschmiede” (hammer mill) – museum building of the farrier family Geiser
- Special offer: We organize a farrier demonstration for you (€ 25,- – per group)
- In the evening 4 course gourmet menu in the restaurant.

5 Days Package
(valid from March to November for groups of 8 people or more):
“Bühlertäler” recovery and hiking days – hiking-tours with friends in the Northern Black Forest
You will find our hotel “Grüner Baum” in the climatic spa “Bühlertal” surrounded by vineyards. It is the gateway to the dedicated nature reserve Northern Black Forest. Upon arrival you receive a small hiking guide including proposals of hiking routes around the “Bühlertal”. On request we organize guided hiking tours for you in the nearby area (car-sharing with own vehicle also possible).
Included in the 5 days flat-rate:
- Welcome aperitif on the day of arrival, afterwards 4 course menu
- Guided hiking tour to the castle “Windeck”, sightseeing and optional stop there
- Visit to an old “hammer mill”
- Hike in the nature reserve Northern Black Forest
- Today you recover in Baden-Baden in the “Caracalla” hot springs (make your own way to it); then we recommend you a stroll through the bath city
- If a Thursday is included in your stay: Visit of “CUM NATURA” – fine products for health and beauty / guided tour with slide presentation and films concerning the bees and its product utility as nutritional supplement and health for the consumers

The hiking tours will take place from at least 8 people. In case of smaller groups, we are pleased to support you in organizing your independent and individual hikes.
At our reception desk you will get further information about leisure time activities such as excursions in the surrounding area on your own authority or by a regional organizer, for example:
- “Gutach” in the Black Forest, reeve farms
Black Forest open-air museum with farms of the 16th until 18th century - Strasbourg/France
historical city, cathedral, boat trip on the Ill, European Parliament - “Dorotheenhütte” – hand blowing and glass museum
